The project coordinators were John Nesser and Gary Ford, U.S. Forest Service. The GIS team consisted of Jim Menakis and Donald Long, USFS Intermountain Fire Sciences Lab, Missoula, MT. Subsections are based on broad geologic, climatic, and landform characteristics. They were originally mapped at a scale of 1:500,000 and are intended for broad landscape characterization and not for detailed interpretations. From 1:500,000 plots with Bailey's ecomap sections, further delineations were made. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P><SPAN /><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
