        <idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;IDFG categorizes wildlife-human conflicts based on human injury and the behavior of the&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;wildlife involved (see attached chart). IDFG will provide guidelines to its personnel for&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;addressing situations involving human injuries or fatalities caused by wildlife attacks on&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;livestock and domestic animals, and nuisance behavior.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For incidents involving serious bodily injury or death of a person, the Wildlife-Human&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Attack Response Team (WHART) will be activated and respond consistent with WHART&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Guidelines and Procedures. The WHART’s responsibilities include acting to protect the&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;safety of the public and incident responders; attempting to identify, locate, and control the&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;animal(s) involved in the incident; and conducting, documenting and reporting investigative&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;findings.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;IDFG’s intent is to provide timely and appropriate response to wildlife-human conflicts,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;particularly attacks on humans, human safety threats, and loss of domestic animals. IDFG&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;may take appropriate measures to control wildlife, up to and including lethal control, in&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;such situations. Control measures will be conducted as safely and humanely as&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;practicable under the circumstances.
